- Me: can't wait to go out tonight with friends!
- Anxiety: you're going to fuck up.
- Me: no I'm not.
- Anxiety: they don't even like you.
- Me: but I'll meet new people
- Anxiety: doesn't matter you can't even say hi to them you're too nervous.
- Me: shut up!
- Anxiety: you know I'm right.
- Me: *picks up phone* I can't go, family's coming over.
In the Victorian era, hand-fans were used not only to cool oneself but also as a secret way to communicate the language of love. For example, by running one’s fingers through the fan’s ribs, one is trying to say, "I want to talk to you." The enigmatic language of the fan was widely used by both men and women.
I. A fan placed near the heart.
"You have won my love."
II. A closed fan touching the right eye.
"When may I be allowed to see you?"
III. A closed fan moved threateningly.
"Do not act so impudently!"
IV. A half-opened fan pressed to the lips.
"You may kiss me."
V. Covering the left ear with an open fan.
"Do not betray my secret."
VI. Hiding the eyes behind an open fan.
"I love you."
VII. Shutting a fully open fan slowly.
"I promise to marry you."
VIII. Fanning oneself slowly.
"I am married."
IX. Letting one’s fan rest on the right cheek or the left.
"Yes" and "No", interchangeably.
X. Opening and closing the fan several times.
"You are cruel."
XI. Fan in front of the face.
XII. Twirling the fan in the left hand.
"We are being watched."
XIII. Fan held over left ear.
"I wish to be rid of you."
XIV. Carrying an open fan in the left hand.
"Come and talk to me."
XV. Opening a fan wide.
"Wait for me."
XVI. Placing the fan behind the head with finger.

He adores her SO MUCH. He just can’t help being ridiculously happy b/c he gets to spend some alone time with his swan. And of course Emma can’t resist smiling right back at her ‘sorta’ pirate boyfriend.
Halloween just wouldn’t be the same without Tim Burton
(From top to bottom: Beetlejuice, The Nightmare Before Christmas, The Corpse Bride, Alice in Wonderland, Sleepy Hollow, Edward Scissorhands, Sweeny Todd, Dark Shadows, Frankenweenie)
One of my favourite things about Harry Potter is that Harry is such an unreliable narrator, not because he’s lying, but because he was so oblivious, just about anything could be going on under his nose and he wouldn’t even notice. It’s great because it supports basically every headcanon. Like, no, Harry would not have noticed if Sirius and Remus were dating, I know he’s The Chosen One but he’s about as perceptive as a pile of bricks.
When I say “I love you.” I’m not saying I just love you. I’m telling you, I love everything about you with everything that I have.
I love your face.
I love your hands, even if you don’t like the calluses on your palms.
Your collar bones, even though they hurt when I lay my head on your freckled shoulders.
I love the way your tongue goes to the left side of your lips when you’re focused playing Call of Duty.
I love the way your nose fits perfectly behind my ear when you’re laying behind me in bed.
I love the way you grab my hand in public when you know I feel uncomfortable with the surroundings.
I love the color of your hair in the Winter.
And the way it feels between my fingers.
But I love the color even more when it’s Fall, when all the leaves falling from the tree are all the shades that make up every one of your strands.
I love the way you kiss me before letting your eyes focus to the morning light.
I love the way you kiss me in the dark even when you can barely see me before we fall asleep.
But there is one thing that I hate. I will hate this forever. I hate that no matter what will happen between us. If you crush me, break me, chew me up, and spit me out, that I will not be able to hate you. I won’t be able to hate one little thing about you even though I know I should.
Because like I said,
I love you.
No matter what.

- Teacher: What are you going to do after college?
- Senior: I don't know.
- Teacher: Well what are you passionate about?
- Senior: I haven't had time to find my passion because I'm too busy preparing for tests/midterms/finals/the AP exam/ACT/SAT and having to write my college entry/scholarship/housing applications. Plus, I have homework.
